Por, çfarë na mësoi kjo epokë? A na bëri më të vetëdijshëm për identitetin tonë? Unë mendoj se po. Në mungesë të kontakteve fizike, gjuha shqipe bëhej simboli ynë i vetëm i njohjes. Një shprehje e thjeshtë humoristike, një varg i vjetër kënge, ose thjesht shkëmbimi i mendimeve për politikën dhe sportin, krijuan një "Shqipëri Virtuale" që ekzistonte në servera dhe fibra optike, por që rrahte me zemër të vërtetë.
Le të bisedojmë, le të shkruajmë, dhe mbi të gjitha, le ta mbajmë gjallë Shqipen në çdo faqe interneti që vizitojmë. Në fund të ditës, tastiera jonë është soditëse e reja e identitetit tonë.
Kujtoj me nostalgji kohën kur të qenit "online" nuk ishte thjesht një status, por një mundësi e rrallë për të takuar persona nga të gjitha anët e trojeve tona – Kosovë, Shqipëri, Maqedoni, Mal i Zi, e kudo ku shqiptarët jetojnë. Në ato dhoma bisedash (chat rooms), dialektet përzieheshin, "çë" dhe "që" debatoreshin me pasion, dhe ballina e re shqiptare ndërtohej përmes mesazheve të shkurtra teksti.
