This is not a comfortable watch. The film deliberately avoids giving you a hero. Every character is morally grey. The single-take courtroom monologue in the middle is exceptional writing. But the film is overlong (165 mins) and the third act feels like a lecture.

Technically, it’s a marvel. The sound mix (whispers, footsteps, cracking leaves) is terrifying on headphones. But narratively, it goes nowhere. After 95 minutes, you realize the “twist” was guessable in the first ten. Joju gives a committed physical performance, but the film mistakes confusion for depth.
